Welcome to our experiment. A saucy, unedited blog written by authors under the influence of our good friend Ethanol.
One might call it a haven for the higher thoughts. Others may call it the refuge of the damned.
In either case, please mind the speeling mistaeks.

it all started with the whynatte site…
(well not really, but that’s a good opening line, isn’t it?)
you see, my friends and i were “in talks” about our own drunk blog experience. so far we’ve just got our own drunk e-mail… “stickscience@hotmail.com”. the deal with that is that if you’ve done something particularly spectacular (or shameful) at the previous night’s drinking you’d have a message from stick science in your inbox the following morning. saved in the sentmail of that account is a treasure trove of drunken exploits.
the name comes from something that was said one night when ben (a post-sarsh friend from guelph) said when he was cut off. “cut off”, he said “stick science! stick science for a beer!” somehow it made sense at the time.
it developed into the e-mail.
we’ve been toying with the idea, late at night, as way of connecting with drinking pals lost among the various bars of guelph. someone forwarded on the “whynatte” site as an example, and who did i see? Sarsh and Daav drinkin it up!
(strangely enough, just days after that I got an e-mail from Sarah. coincidence? there are no coincidences)
so, it a saturday night in guelph and i’m post-ebar messaging with my frozen fingers after the endless waiting for a cab. my first chance to drunk-comment since i discovered the site (sadly, the drunk nights are few and far between now) it’s also the first chance i’ve had to read through the posts. i know now that there’s nothing better post-bar than to read the inebriated comments of other folk – my brothers and sisters!
i wish that i had a pic to add to my comment, but they’re lost on camera phones all over guelph. (oh god, i hope they’re lost!)
that’s my post.
one more coffee for the road,
ld
ps. i suspect i’ve been using bad punctuation in this post. forgive me baby, forgive me. (that means you daav, but you know that!)

Whynatte brings old friends back together, and is the catalyst for many a new forged friendship.
